Idhya in Sanskrit means “lighting” or “kindling”
In the buzz of modern life, the level of exhaustion, anxiety, overwhelm and stress has increased. So many of us are on work-eat-sleep-repeat mode, almost nearing a burn out. We wait for the next vacation or break till we can take care of ourself and keep putting our mental, emotional, physical self on-hold.
So many of us don’t have the space that allows us to relax and let go.
Idhya aims to provide just that… amidst the buzz of daily life… a space where you can pause….relax… breathe… reflect….reconnect to yourself and your inner peace.
Idhya is an experiential studio promoting meditation and well-being & is borne out of the intention of providing a calming and healing environment.
“Almost everything will work again if you unplug it for a few minutes, including you. – Anne Lamott”
We believe that deep found inner peace is the biggest gift you can give yourself, your loved ones, and the planet.

About the Founder
My journey to find my Authentic Self…Led me to Idhya
Life, since childhood, has been surrounded by dance, music, colors and expression. These artistic mediums come to me naturally. My upbringing has been simple and ingrained with values such as kindness, honesty and inclusiveness, along with the freedom to make my own choices.
As an ISB graduate, being on the hamster wheel in the corporate world day in and day out made me strongly realize that something was amiss in my life.
There was a battle between my Mind and Heart and a void in my soul.
Being engaged in artistic mediums, develops ones emotional quotient or EQ. It took me sometime to acknowledge to myself that the lack of EQ in this world was the “amiss”
The artistic expression in me got wings with Kathak where I began to re-discover that aspect, and as I began to fly with it, I realized “Art is a way of thinking” and dance was one of my mediums to experience it. This was one of the first milestones of my journey.
As I embraced motherhood, an unknown journey for most women, I realized beyond all human plans made, sometimes, there was no option but to surrender to the flow of life, and let it bring you closer to who you are. Also that being happy was simple and sharing that was even simpler and so fulfilling.
At various points in my journey, I had to make a choice, a choice that added a new perspective and dimension to my existing human experience.
I enrolled for the “Education for Life” program next, which put all my experiences together and brought me closer to my life purpose.
The artist, the entrepreneur, and the mother in me, all came together with the Life Skills training program, and brought me to start Idhya.
Idhya, for me, is a space to experience and share the simple joys of life that warm the heart and nourish the mind, body and soul.
And we hope to add joy to the lives of as many people as we can.
